Lyse studied computer science and art, mashing them together to create a career in the digital VFX industry. She's helped make the impossible possible on over 30 films for 30 years. Films such as Lord of the Rings, Avatar, and Fifth Element.

Lyse  is currently the Trust Manager for The School of Fine Woodworking in Nelson, New Zealand.

​

Before writing novels, Lyse was a represented, award-winning screenwriter. She’s a gamer and in awe of quantum physics. Weird sea creatures fascinate her.
